OUTFIT: Leather Jacket

Study finds "owning a cool leather jacket is more rewarding than raising children" - Well, I´m not a parent (yet) but I guess a cool leather jacket is not too bad. They say watching your leather jacket slowly adapting to your body shape and perfectly becoming a part of you makes you more happy than watching your children grow up. Damn, I hope my mum still loves me more than her biker jacket... You cannot believe that? Read the article. "The Onion" Sounds like a serious newspaper to me.

BERLIN: Bauhaus Archiv

If you have a thing for architecture, I highly recommend the Bauhausarchiv in Berlin. (and also, the whole Area around it) Its crazy that you discover the most amazing places "by accident" - since we went to the Nordic Embassy for seeing an exhibition and endet up exploring that Building, which is actually a Museum. The Museum itself shows a few signature Pieces from the Bauhaus era, featuring some infamous Freischwinger Chairs and interior Inspiration. If you don't have the money for the entry, just go downstairs, get a coffee and visit the bookstore and, of course, just look at this building. Reflection over reflection is a new perspective, between concrete and glass. Enjoy the Bauhaus Archiv!

Two Days left till Paris! I couldn't be more excited or be any more filled with wanderlust and love then right now. I have all my loves around me and am pretty much done with university stuff. What´s coming up next? New Jobs, Applications, my Bachelor Thesis and some real quality time with friends. The sun came out again and I had the pleasure to meet some cool people recently. I bet, its going to be a great August. (Especially, because its only 4 Days to go until Juules Birthday, yeahi!) So, here is another Post from Berlin, featuring a wrap Skirt, which is, unfortunately a bit too tight for me. Well, you won't see the weird shape unless I take off my duster coat, which barely happens at all. I might still take that nice wrap skirt with me, in case I cannot find my favorite pair of shorts again. See you soon!

Who likes some Ice-cream? Everyone likes some Ice-cream. Especially now that the weather is lovely +30°C and a dream in form of sweat on my face is coming true. Not - I am not a heat lover, but I do love popsicles and those California Pops are simply amazing. Color: Check, Flavor: Check, Ingredients: All Natural, so check. Price: 2,50€ which is, for Ice-cream, a tiny bit expensive, but considering the fact that a usual Magnum costs around 2€ its a bargain, regarding the fact that they even are healthy and kinda detox, since you only eat fruit. Anyway, the California Pops Popsicles are heaven and if you ever have the chance to be around "Schlesisches Tor" - take your Chance, get some Ice-cream and sit down at the River, watch the boats and people spending the summer outside!

Paris, my Love and my best friendsBirthday are fulfilling my life at the Moment - And this kinda parisian chic (well, I tried) shall just fit in the setting. Today we planned strolling the Champs-Elisees, La Marais and, of course, get some Ice-cream. Striped Tee, flirty Skirt and some chunky Lace Up Boots should complete the french style and adding some red lipstick on top instead of a heavy eye make-up cannot be wrong. We are so excited to explore another city together and take a whole bunch of pictures - although I´ve read that real french woman barely wear makeup at all... Anyway - one thing I will avoid is trying to annoy people with my school-french which must sound great after 5 years of not using it at all :D I will keep you updated and share the dreamy settings with you. See you later!

Sitting at the kitchen table is one thing. I eat, I do my homework and basically everything else, I do during a day. Laying in my bed is another thing. I eat, I do my homework and basically everything else, when I feel like changing the space. But a real home office is none of those things. For sure, you might remember my lovely little bureau I POSTED HERE - but it does not offer the space I need to expand my chaos, books and papers. So I decided that I will do a little changes to my bedroom. Currently, I own a few things I do not even use, featuring my lovely chair and a bed shelf. I will get rid of them. Second, I will sell my bureau and get a real table. I mean, a table I can work on. this will be that one. Then, I will get one Plant that won't die, cause I´ll take care of it (which did not work in the past. I guess, because its pretty dark in my bedroom, not because I forget to water them...) So thanks to pinterest, I will think about some nice wall decor, as well!

OUTFIT: PINK SUEDE SKIRT

Favorite Skirt, favorite Area and favorite Sister in my Company. We took those pictures close to Oderbergerstrasse in Berlin, the Area around the infamous Mauerpark. I never really thought I would jump on that suede-trend train, but I did, honestly, just because I like the color Pink from time to time. A bit, just like most of the girls secretly do, tough it features one of the biggest stereotypes. I still wanted to keep it simple yet playful by adding white and details. The Malher Bag from Carven is my beloved allrounder, tough people always tell me what they do see in the fringes "your bag looks like a hand.""or like woman´s legs." - or, which is my number 1 - "your bag looks like your radiator."  Okay, thank you. I just never would have thought of that, but I still love the radiator-hand-leg bag!

FOOD: Transit in Berlin

Now we´re getting to my absolute favorite Restaurant here in Berlin. I barely go there because I do not want to get tired of/used to it, only on special occasions, as when Juule was visiting me or on my 23. Birthday, which I spent there with my best friend. Its always beyond delicious and so much fun to choose your asian tapas along of rice or noodles. My favorites are the Fried sticks which comes as tofu as well as prawn sticks with a heavenly guacamole or the tofu salad with veggie chips and a spicy sauce. Each small dish is 3€, Rice/Noodles 1€ - a big dish is around 7-9€. Sounds fair, right? Did I already mention that the restaurant itself is beautiful and modern? The colorful lamps on the ceiling and the dark furniture contribute a sophisticated allround feeling. Also, damn you have to try the chocolate-mousse. Its the best on earth and always sold out..

OUTFIT: Simple BW

Well this one is simple, yet I really like the layering with the sleeveless jacket and the the wrap skirt - Since the summer in Berlin might be a little tricky to handle, you never know what to put on and what to take off, you never fail when you layer as much as you want. Black and white is an easy game, and black layers seem to fit in each other perfectly. Btw, I am pretty excited to be on the road again soon with my boyfriend, driving to the sea and feed some ducks. Yeahi, the summer of love, you know? First I met my best friend for some intense quality time, then my sister stayed for a while and now I will have my first holiday with a boyfriend. I wonder how he will handle my Outfitpictures, he might have to shoot some ;)

COOKING: Chia Pancakes

Welcome to the chia-hype train. Take a seat and have a pancake, because I usually only had it in the really easy way and prepared some chia puddings or put them on top of my fruit bowls in the morning, but they are so easy to prepare and do not really have an own taste that they make a really nice allround ingredient for all kinds of food. I do have a really nice recipe which works for vegans as well as for sugar-avoiders and is absolutely satisfying your sweet tooth. Which I say as a person who has been eating that for three days in a row ;) All you need for 12 mid-sized or 20 small pancakes is here:
5 big spoons of spelt flour
125gr Blueberrys
1,5 big spoons of chia seeds
1 small spoon of backing soda
3 big spoons of plant oil (I use soy oil, but its up to you)
2 spoons of egg-free powder or, optional, 2 eggs (tried both, same same, but different)
Agave syrup, as much as you need
a bit of soy/almond/rice/coconut milk

well pancakes are one easy thing to do, you mix up the ingredients and try to mix flour and soda first, so you get a well puffy and soft pancake in the end. and of course, you´ll have to fry them. since you use blueberries, you wouldn't do the mistake of having a too hot pan, and also, you keep the blueberry out until you fried one side well, so you just let them on the surface of the raw side, before you turn them around. so, go for it and fry me a river. or a chia pancake, yummy!

OUTFIT: Copper Kimono

This outfit consists of some all time favorite basics and the copper kimono, which strikes again, ever since Ana took some photos of it at the rose wall. I just thought it would be perfect for Paris, suiting some golden-detailed doors but endet up choosing a different setting. Which I am pretty happy with. If you're in a city that is so beautiful that you cannot possibly decide where to go, its even harder to choose one background per outfit only. This is a thing I really miss, ever since being back in Berlin: some not sprayed old houses. But anyway, even tough my sporty-kinda-elegant style suits the setting pretty well, I could not imagine to live in Paris, loving Berlin for its vibes and open-minded people, I was really happy to be back and do enjoy walks in the graffiti-sprayed areas from now on.

see above the street where we took those pictures. A dream, right?

INSPIRATION: autumn is for change

Autumn is pretty close, I rethink my wardrobe again and also my room is having some big changes coming up. Since I was searching for some chairs, I found the perfect one for my best friend, but its sold out, sadly - well the price was around 50€ and this gold-white perfection was sold out pretty quickly. Also, the never-ending search for a bucket bag continues. It it shouldn't happen soon, I might go for the dream bag by building block. My Dr.Martens became more comfy btw, wearing those for days and feeling my little toe again was a release. Those of you who know the problem will feel me.  Pinterest is turning me into a massive Art Lover, I cannot get enough of those patterns and think about getting another blank canvas to continue my work. Are you guys planning something or are you still in summer mood?

OUTFIT: CULOTTE JUMPSUIT

Look at me, being cheeky in Danzig with my favorite Man while he takes awkwardly his very first Outfitpictures of me.  After a few minutes we even managed to stop laughing at each other, meanwhile the polish people were watching us with wonder and confusion. It might be the culottes, which are strange enough without being a jumpsuit in midi-length. But wait, I also wore it as dungarees with a pinstripe shirt and did not really fit the polish dresscode. Which is pretty normal for me, but if I would get a zloty for every single stare we would use them on going out for dinner, since even the yummiest pierogi were too cheap too be true - honestly, I have never ever eaten that amazing east-european food and I am Ukrainian, so it must mean something. Anyway, we really enjoyed Danzig and will definitely be back soon for more pierogi and beach-time!

FOOD: Best Falafel in Berlin at NIL

You want that Peanut Sauce, don't you? I could literally put a straw in it and just survive on that perfectly smooth peanut-salty-sauce. Ok, well thats enough about that, NIL is an african Fast-Food Chain (can you say that with two shops?) in Berlin, serving fresh, homemade falafel, vegetable and halloumi sandwiches, some specials and also the mixed up sandwich featuring all ingredients. If you're really hungry and you have 4€ left, they are really well spent on one of those bad boys or the infamous Maniok Fries (Maniok is barely comparable to the potato, yet looks a bit like a sweet-potato). Also, it happens to be really vegan and vegetarian friendly besides from the spicy lamb meat. Honestly, I could eat one of their falafel right now. Did I mention the Peanut Sauce?

OUTFIT: I will always Culotte around

One more Outfit from Paris, feauturing the trousers my boyfriend hates because they are loose and high-waist shaped. Which makes me love it, to be honest. If I could choose one favorite piece this year, it would be the culottes. In any length, color or texture, I just really adore how they feel light as a skirt and comfy as sweatpants - while looking chic as hell and making people always wonder, why anyone should wear them in real life (just like Onesies outside of bedrooms - makes me wonder whats going on in their lives..) So Culottes, I will keep you through every summer and spring that I will experience, since you might last longer than any romance. Just as the infamous "radiator bag that looks like a hand". Makes me just realize that peopl got a thing for criticizing my favorite pieces haha! :D

BEAUTY: My Aveda Haircolor

Did you realize my hair is not that yellow anymore? We tried out to take the damaging color out of them, since I was using blonde spray over the past few months. I always was really cautious about using it and only applied it when I knew I would wash my hair in the next 8-12 hours anyway instead of leaving it in for days. However, still blonde spray left a yellow shine on my hair which was not natural looking at all and the Neo Berlin Studio had to spend around two and a half hours on fixing that again, and what came out is a quite amazing color with a feathery slight "ombre" color fade from the roots to the ends. It had to be bleached and toned and was finished with a purple glossing - can you believe that this one consists of natural Aveda Colors? Its not damaged after the bleach and also there is no need to dye anymore after my roots got my natural hair color back and the brown blends perfectly over in the blonde. I really am happy with my hair right now and can only recommend you to search for the closest Studio offering AVEDA colors, so you can make sure to end up with a natural color that wouldn't kill you hair. Again, I can only thank Oliver who made this happen again and again, I feel really good with the new look :)

everyday is culotte day - and those are pretty special since they were meant as a substitute for my favorite pair of loose pants which I thought I lost somewhere in the messy war I had in my room during exam season. Wow, I already see that this is going to be a boring story and I should skip on that and just get straight to the point: loose pants plus loose shirt is totally fine for me, adding some gold and a tiny bit of black completes the minimalistic holiday look I wore, when I recently met Ana again after a way too long working period with barely any breaks (especially for her) - Also, I got some nice pictures again (though my boyfriend improves his fashionblog-photo skills pretty quick), but Ana just has her way to capture a face like "oh Diana, where did your beard go? that looks magical." So, thank you Ana, you create the best portraits :)

PARIS, PARIS! You´ve got my archilover-heart. I really had some great time taking pictures in Paris, from the dixieme arrondissement to the centre of tourism (Yes, le Louvre is a must.) My favorite spot was the museum of natural history - which was for free for people < 26 years. The skeletons impressed me so much, I took around 50 pictures of them. I can only recommend all photography lovers to take a really long walk and enjoy the beauty that waits at every corner for you :)
