DIY: Marble your clothes

Easter eggs can inspire you even during Autumn - when I passed by the Art Supply Store I found Marble colors on sale. Since I only knew them from coloring easter eggs and kitschy Postcards, I read the package and it said "decent on fabrics" - so I tried it. here is a little tutorial, so you do not need to do the same mistakes again, I already made them all for you (:
YOU NEED:
Marble colors. I used black, "clear" (get two bottles, its the base for everything) and silver
a brush with a really pointy end
!plastic gloves (I did not use them, big mistake)
white clothes (altough every other bright color would do it as well)
a bathtub
water
I filled the bathtub with a bit of water, so it only covered the surface and added a few drops of marble color. Ok, not only a bit. enough to cover the whole surface, as well.
then you take the end of the brush to put in a "pattern" - as you like it, I mean, at the end its hard to control the stuff anyway. Keep an eye on bubbles. they might destroy everything if they pop out!
And now: dip in piece for piece, if its an irregular piece of clothing. (like a jumper with sleeves) otherwise: try to "put" it as even as you can on the surface with the marble colors. so you´ll get an even result
thats actually how it looks on 100% cotton.
this is 100% polyester
and this is fake leather(I will create a clutch or something nice with this piece)

So, if youre done, let it dry for at least 24 hours. it will set down in the fabric and stick to it. Handwash cold only, but seriously, its worth it! (if you try it, please sent me the results!)
