MEET: Storm of the Adorable Two

As I told you yesterday, I will introduce one blog I like each week, mainly on Tuesdays. Since I am a person reacting immediately, I will start with the Blogger I met on Saturday (again): Storm of The Adorable Two // I don't usually do this friendship stuff anymore with other Bloggers, because most of the time its just about a selfie, a link back, or pretending to be friends, just to be not the weird loner at a party. But when I met her last year in Spring, I already knew that she and her sister are special, smart and reflected about the way they live as well as the way they blog. Its pretty rare to find honest people, who are very straight with their opinions and focused on leaving behind a positive atmosphere moreover than showing everybody how many follower they´ve got. Well, at least in the Blogosphere its rare.
Getting back to the positive vibes: Storm and her sister are both done with shopping every sale at every store, they got a clear and beautiful style, re-combine clothes again and again and look amazing each time! Clean, elegant and laid-back. For me, the Blog is a real inspiration tool for every day!
The pictures indeed have a good quality, but this is not the only thing I can learn from their Blog, they also give some great advice about blogging, reducing your closet and photography. However, if you are interested in great content, visit them!

Before you say "her blog is so successful, why don't you introduce smaller Blogs?" - Because I usually start with friends, but I try to do a good mix out of everything. Next week I´ll introduce a less known blog :)

FOOD: Five Elephant in Berlin

Normally, I would never ever recommend a coffeeshop where the employees aren't friendly. But I guess everybody should give it a try themselves, without judging. Five Elephant in Kreuzberg is infamous for its cheesecake, so much, that Bae (who still hates to be called Bae) and I did not get a piece when we arrived there on a Saturday afternoon. However, I´ve chosen Applepie and he took something Berry-ish. The coffee was very good (and I don't really like coffee) - but in my opinion, the service was below average. When I went inside to order cake, I was surprised to pay immediately, since we already had a table with drinks. I was even more surprised to get a really mean response from a waitress, when I just mentioned we already had a table outside. Well, in the future I will get something to take-away :)

Wow, I look so cool. This is how I expect a Blogger to speak about their outfit. But I´m talking about the Pose. Stolen from Storm, btw. Also, she took the pictures. My Blousebecame immediately my favorite, the sleeves are as wide as my mind. (35° on a scale) And the coat was one of the best finds. After I craved for a basic Filipa K navy belted coat, I found a similar one at &otherstories. We fell in love and here we are, straight, timeless shape, easy silhouette but just a medium thick wool.
Storm and I went back to the amazing Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin on a sunny autumn day and discovered some rather non-picturesque stone buckets we conquered to shoot in it. The Pictures turned out pretty well and although I wouldn't call that my angle, I totally work it. Ok, I can stop now complimenting my stolen pose. Instead I will thank you all for your great resonance on my Blog introduction series! I am beyond excited to show you a quit unknown but great blog tomorrow! Yeahi stay tuned and always keep your head up, we will blog together and for each other and if some people want to make an ego-game out if it, its fine, too. I will support the good ones.

Since I´ve promised you to show you my favorite Blogs each tuesday, I want to introduce you to Aliciya from Kooye - You might not know the site yet, but if you're a little bit like me, you will fall in love and scroll through the archives for hours. Kooye is more than just a Blog. Its a space where various disciplines get together to create a pop-Art fun project, reviewing music, interior, literature, food and fashion (of course). But its even better - she has a very clear aesthetic, a nice writing and pics daily the most adorable things out of the internet. When you are really into book reviews mixed with well selected little goodies, you should visit Kooye.

TRAVEL: The Algarve on my Birthday

Looking at those Pictures, it seems like a dream. But I can honestly say, that this trip had nothing of a dream. Each year, my birthday gives me the biggest fears of being left alone on purpose, thats why I just left by myself. My boyfriend is still on tour with his band and I lost quite a few "fake friends" or how I want to call it, over the past year. Last year 15 people seemed to be "close" friends. Now I am really cautious about opening myself to others (irony: I am writing a blogpost about my feelings, well its okay as long as its not too deep) However, what I want to say is: I escaped to be not the one, others escape from. How it endet: there was a huge flood over the coast, it rained nearly all day and I got a really gross infection on my ankle. Sounds like a nightmare, right? Well, at least I got to see the coast for a few hours, where it did not rain. climbed down a sea cave, came back up and swam in the ocean. I am quite content, as long as I don't drown. But really would like to see it when the weather is good. The Algarve is beyond beautiful and the nature there is just striking.

Outfit: Camel Jacket

Hey you! I colored my roots with the sepia brush, so they are consistently brown. Since I am in my Mid-Twenties now (24, I cannot deny it anymore, I am about to grow up) its fine to photoshop my hair and my wrinkles, as long as I am honest with you. I did use a pop of color though in my outfit - which I really like, as you might have seen throughout my last outfit posts I developed a slight weakness for camel. I mean look at this boxy camel jacket with the fine silver hardwear! I was thinking that it would look great with my Chloe Faye bag until I realized that I do not own one. Also, I did not get one for my birthday, but something even better: After I ran away from my own birthday and spent the days at the Algarve coast, I came back and got a cake, balloons, a bottle of Not-Moet Moet and hugs. I honestly could not wish for more. I already gave up on my special day but then got surprised in a positive way. Even if you have only few people in your life, you can feel how appreciated you are and this is the most wonderful feeling on earth. Its not a Faye Bag or masses of people. Its the way the close friends choose your balloons in your favorite colors and make a fudge cake to eat it with you. The way they put on party hats to cheer you up. I am grateful today!

MEET: Atusa of Atusas Fashionpill

Incredible 27 Readers until now, a real rare pearl of a Blog. Atusa is so young yet she already has  developed a style which I only can envy (and admire). I stumbled over her lovely site accidentally, when I was browsing Lookbook a year ago and became one of the first 15 Readers. I always look forward to her classic, yet minimalistic outfits and just love how little she seems to buy - instead you will always find more ways to combine favorite pieces.

Well its that time of the year again, when I browse shops to find gifts for other people but end up creating wish lists for my own home. End then maybe buy scented candles for friends and family - but this is a different story. When it comes to interior, I do really love light and filigree frames, those cubistic tables are spread all over the internet at the moment - I still want to figure out a way to make my own one with a copper frame, since they are very pricey and that is a bummer, if you want to have a specific thing in your apartment. So far I have found two great DIYs, you can find the first one here and the second one here. The second one might be - of course slightly adapted might even do its job and become my personal copper side table. If you have some Ideas where I could get a cheaper version or maybe the one and only great DIY, just shoot it in the comment section, I am always happy about your Input :)

OUTFIT: Hate comments and granny clothes

$

thats a good question. I actually got that one via Instagram: Hate comments, a win for both sides, I guess- people can laugh at my long coats and culottes and I can laugh at people who say mean things on the internet. But to be honest, some of them went too far. Instagram upsets me daily a bit, not only because the likes go down, but because the comments are rude and body image is just not a topic I want to discuss on a public forum. Not only "granny clothes" or "damn ugly legs"- its the fact that everyone reads about this and people might accidentally try to fit in by listening to that stupidity. Just don't do this. Comments are comments, yet they are no communication. They shouldn't affect you in any way. If you load up something, do it because you like it, not because someone else likes it.
Sometimes, I just want to take those people, put them in a cave without internet and let them abuse each other verbally, so they learn. But a close look at their profiles teaches me that there is nothing else in their lives than trying to hurt strangers. And this should not get attention.

that was a lot "Anais" - I know I said I will introduce less known blogs. But sometimes I just want to support friends, too. Also, she is not famous or something, it just happens to be online for a while or so. Anyway, why do I even try? Anais Blog is awesome and she is just a quirky, vivid, colorful person, despite the fact that she barely wears any color.
If anyone who did not know her blog before knows it now, I served my purpose and have shown you another great inspiration: Anais. Click through her blog for some serious Interior and Outfitinspo, you will definitely not regret it! :)

Beauty: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

This one is another marketing gag I stumbled over when reading Harper and Harley, my all time favorite Blog by Sara Donaldson from Australia. Always admiring her beatiful skin, face, hair, everything, I saw her reviewing the infamous Estee Lauder Advanced Repair Serum at the Age of 26. And I turned 24 recently. Doing some research, I realized, this is not even too early. I have some tiny wrinkles already but never really mind taking care of them by night - since I use SPF on a daily base. Since nothing scares me as much as looking like my mother who is 43 now and never heard of SPF and instead tans on a daily base, I took action - and it was so easy.

ABOUT My SKIN: I have a problematic skin with big pores and many dry spots between oily spots. Sounds great, right? I don't always have pimples, but if I have, they are below the skin, if you understand what I mean. Unreachable yet visible. I also added an honest - no make up picture("Before" ...with a little lip care). As you can see, there are plenty of dark spots and all in all an uneven, but not dramatically bad look. I still go outside with no make up.

USE: First washing my face, and remove all the makeup gently. Then, every second evening, I use 2-3 drops for the whole face - before applying a little extra moisturizer by avene on the dry spots only.  This is not much! and the serum spreads over the whole face and leaves a good feeling after quickly soaking in. ATTENTION: Its not for the eyes, leave them out of your routine, because this Serum is too much for the thin skin around that area.
Afterwards (20 Minutes later) I add some extra moisturizer under my eyes and on dry spots.

Next morning: Looking better and better. I keep up my routine and put on some moisturizer after washing my face. Even during autumn/winter: At least 20 SPF. Afterwards, there is nothing more than lip care, eyebrows and a light BB cream. done! Baby powder to take the shine and set the bb cream around the eyes and I feel well.

3 weeks later - After: You can leave the bb cream, you look okay. I must admit though, that my skin got dryer in general. I started recently to add the moisturizer over my whole face after using the Serum. You might realize that my skin looks a little dry on the "after" picture. So there might be another update on the Serum Use soon :)

Price: I know, 116€ for 50ml sounds expensive, because it is expensive - but using it dropwise I´ve read that a PR sample of 7ml was enough for 5 weeks daily use. If someone is interested in getting discounted products from the advanced night repair series, you can get them for 77€ for 50ml. Or maybe you have already found your perfect routine? Tell me about it!

And now that I cannot put it off anymore, its snowy and freezing - At least I saw my first snow yesterday in a dinosaur park! yeahi. This is obviously the official end of my favorite season Autumn, which I must admit, was so overwhelmingly beautiful this year, that I cannot even complain. But its also the end of my autumn uniform, skinny jeans and leather jacket. I will now cover myself in cuddly knits and avoid to step outside for the upcoming five months :D No, not really. But it`s always quite shocking to see how cold winter can be (this is just the beginning) and how little creative it is to layer everything you have to keep yourself warm. I hope you enjoy my last look for this autumn, I cannot wait for spring and this biker jacket.

I must admit that I feel like a gold digger, finding all those amazing Blogs with barely 100 Readers. This one, for example has 50 by now. A real insider-tip I could say! Konni is a student/model and seems to have a weakness for patches and special accessories. At the same time, she manages to balance street style and a classic chic to develop her very own clean outfits. Also, she takes the time to write for us, which is rare these days (writing a very short post myself right now.. haha) But getting straight to the point: Her Blog is amazing, she is looks pretty as hell and I love that smily patch on her shirt!

Giftguide: for your very best girlfriends >20€

Of course I don't have a clue what the perfect gifts for your friends are. But I can categorize some Girls in the Squad and maybe one of those is exactly your friend. I mean, everybody knows at least one of them - That Relationship Person, the one who is always confused, the fashion-obsessed one, the foodie, the ambitious tough one, the pizza lover (well who is not a pizza person?) I only wanted to give some inspiration, there might be one or two items you could consider in those hard times, enjoy:
  • for your one friend, who always loses her hat in the subway, uni, at the club or in her wardrobe: Asos burgundy hat
  • for your one friend who has a boyfriend and basically never leaves the house during the cold months cause she found someone to cuddle with and doesn't need her friends anymore: blanket
  • For your one friend who is ambitious, works in a start-up and manages her hair-care at the same time while being bold enough to read during her very few breaks: Girl Boss
  • for your one friend who knows what really is important in life and orders shitty pizza from time to time (by accident) and has the best Pretty little Liars nights with you: pizza spice
  • for your all black everything friend who happens to be a food-blogger or at least has a weakness for nice #foodporn on instagram (but secretly eats hawaii toast with you): mug & plate
  • for your one and only best friend on earth who deserves a golden ring for having a heart of gold: pineapple ring
  • For that girl you always borrow clothes and accessories from, cause she is the best (a present for yourself too): Asos velvet bag
  • for your one friend who got her life together, suscribed Kinfolk, owns a whole lot of marble stuff and puts her shirts in an alphabetic order: copper magazine holder

OUTFIT: Grid Scarf / Off Shoulder in Winter

Those will be the last pretty pictures of me, before getting my wisdom teeth pulled out right now. This is it, day X, I´ve been always fearing. Probably I will be sitting in that chair and just start to cry before they even ask me to open my mouth. I will cry about all the meals I won't be able to eat and all the potato chips my boyfriend will snack without me. I already am angry with him, although it did not happen yet. Damn, this is the last letter of a sad hungry girl. I will upload some selfies on Instagram, just to show you how my cheeks look in swollen state.
Actually its a wonder that I am not sick as well, since I wear an off-shoulder Shirt in the middle of November - which is probably the reason why its 15$ only. I kind of missed out on that trend earlier this year when TIBI and Zara made every girl in town show off their shoulders, featuring simple shapes and cotton in blue or white. But its never too late to be a follower. So I paired the off shoulder shirt with a grid scarf (favorite Pattern atm), a long blue coat from &otherstories and grey cotton trousers (below: thermo leggings you cannot see)

Part time-cake friend and full time french lover? Same here. If you ever happen to have 4€ left, make sure you invest it in a piece of heaven. To be more precise: buy cake at du Bonheur in Berlin (close to U8 Bernauerstrasse) I highly recommend any of those love-filled sugar bombs. They do not only look incredible, but the taste is beyond yummy. The really put all their heart in baking goods and you can feel it. The service is nice and the variety of sweets is tasty form macaroons (1,70€) to little tartes (3,80 - 4,50€) My favorite is salted caramel and dark coconut. I recommend to visit them on any day, but on sundays you can enjoy it after visiting one of the plenty flea markets in the Area, like Mauerpark or Arkona Platz.

open from 8:00 - 19:00

My first boyfriend jeans! And actually also the first one in blue for 3 years now. But here it is! I am not sure how much boyfriend can be put in those pants, since its still kinda tight. I like them exactly that way :) on Top I wear some of my favorite basics - a longer (pinstriped) shirt with a turtleneck, of course layered with thermo long sleeves, secretly hiding under my not so think looking layers. In the winter time, it really helps me to wear looser styles to wear a thermo leggings below. Those Boyfriend Jeans are loose enough to be layer with tights and leggings, so: perfect warm feeling in the coldest winter, in case you worried about my naked ankles ;)
I know, this outfit is very basic, but who doesn't like the comfy way? see? See the full details below:

Camel Coat, Striped Tee, Jumper, Mango Pants, Watch, Scarf, Bag, Shoes
This one is one of my favorite Combinations: tapered pants which are loose enough to wear tights underneath, ankle boots and a striped long sleeve. Since its a really mild winter (atm) I sometimes can just layer a heavy knit but would never forget about a scarf. the grey one is pretty cheap with 16€, (says someone who still didn't get the hype about acne scarfs for 160€...)
I hope you like that Inspiration! What is your WINTER UNIFORM?

Finally she is here! the perfect evening bag - I couldn't afford a Drew anyway, but also dreamed of Rosegold Details. I found it on Vestiare Collective (however you spell that) when I was browsing the site on a boring sunday. I never heard of the Brand Gerard Darel before, it must be something french for insiders. But also I didn't care about the brand, since I liked the design a lot. The perfect half circle Bag with a beautiful Rosegold chain and button. I am really happy with it and will take her everywhere (I guess some boys out there shake their heads because they don't understand that thing with bags.) But its easy: If you found one you like completely and don't want to replace it with another bag, its your company for a long time. And even if it never will be a Chloe, a Givenchy or a Fendi, I am happy at the moment with my Pablo. Maybe even more, because I cannot see it everywhere :)
